  • Yes, Angie, the venous cannulation is usually a breeze! Very well behaved. The arterial on the hand is a stubborn old chap. Troubles me most of the time!

  • @gwyn523 no mask as well

  • it looks painful

  • I'm an RN & I couldn't help notice your sterile technique isn't always sterile. Please don't take this the wrong way, I just want to help. I'm sure you know why the procedure needs to be sterile, but please maybe have your home care RN point out what steps aren't . Fill your xylocaine syringe before dropping it onto the sterile field; review putting on sterile gloves; don't touch anything that is "dirty" once your sterile gloves are on (prime the line before putting gloves on).

  • why are there bumps? i have to start tat soon and am just curious

  • you are doing great i see...fresenius f4008...man i hate that machine:D Good luck!

  • Your venus looked easier to cannulate than the arterial. Thx for the vid :)

  • Fantastic video! Thanks for sharing this video..it will help and motivate others and of course dis-spell the myths and fears that dialysis is dangerous. Nicley done Kamal! Interesting setup...
