An incredible lightning display was created by an intense line of severe thunderstorms that struck far southern Wisconsin on the evening of June 25, 1998. This video was shot from the southeast side of Waukesha looking south toward the line of storms.

Daytime temperatures were in the mid 90's, along with 70 degree dew points and an approaching cold front helped produce a cluster of severe thunderstorms across southeast Wisconsin. A tornado was also spawned by these storms initially in Rock County, Wisconsin.
