  • Why did you cut out the second part and Bobby's solo section?

  • Hi donnyaldridge. Mr Bobby Hicks solo has not been cut or edited. This is exactly how the track was performed on the night and went out on air. Take another look at the Country Boy video from the same show and you will hear Ricky hit a very rare bum note around 45 seconds. No re-takes or edits both tracks were performed live for TV and both in one take. Thanks for asking.

  • @biglipdfool Big mon would love this so called "cheesy" version of it.

  • Thanks for posting, I enjoyed watching this with my family.

    Lou Reid

  • @biglipdfool Bill liked it.

  • @shiloband well...let's also say that Hicks also had a way of not being faithful to his wife when he was on the road, and he also had this way of not being on stage when he was supposed to be. So Hicks let his personal life cross with his "professional"....still love Hicks as a friend...just don't like how he bit the hand that fed him.

  • Bobby Hicks Interview:

Jim Moss: You have done a lot of session work for bands. Ricky Skaggs for example, and do you ever have input in those projects

Bobby Hicks: Skaggs... always knew... exactly what he wanted, you know. Whether it was right or wrong, it was Skaggs and that was what he wanted. He has always been a picky bossy

man, you know. But for the longest time. I cut everyone of his number one records. And since I have been away from his band he has not had a number one record.

  • @southernsportsman424 have you ever met ricky and do you know him well enough personally to say that or are you just basing that off of a five minute meeting where other fans were around and waiting to say hello to him? because if that's all it took for you to form that opinion then you my friend are seriously mistaken.

  • Judge not lest ye be judged, what we all do will be judged when we stand before the Lord so just worry about your own problems and let God sort out the rest, we as christians are not perfect, we're only saved

  • Yep thats Lou..But he is playing the lead line and Bobby is playing the 2nd part...

  • Is that Lou Reid playing 2nd fiddle?, I do believe it is...
