Very very very well played. Amazing energy! I suppose the microphone is the guilty party for detracting so much from the audible result - or can it really be your instrument (I rather doubt it!). I'd give 5 thumbs up but I only got 2...
You are a phenomenal player for your age, but please be careful that you don't ride so close to the bridge in loud sections - it's sounding a little ponticello-ey and metallic - it may also be your strings...just be careful with the sounding point - it's clear that you can be consistent with your sounding point and straight bow, just move it a few millimeters up toward the bridge in those loud sections - you'll still get a loud sound, just with less scrape!
This shows phenomenal potential. Passionate, exciting, lyrical musical playing. Not sure if your viola does you justice though, it doesnt appear to have the quality you deserve. Thanks as well for the introduction to this piece, I'm gonna add this to my repertoire now, and well done again, your'e a REAL violist!!

I think the 'ponticello' sound is actually the metallic nature of the microphone on the camera. The bane of string players and youtube.

... only the run toward the end is a bit chaotic, rhythmically...

Can I ask what studies you have used to develop such great bow technique?
