UIM World Hydroplane Championships 2009 - Heat three

This was heat three of the UIM World Hydroplane Championships held at Lake Karapiro, New Zealand on Sunday 8 February 2009. Featuring Annihilator (Warwick Lupton), Annihilator 2 (David Alexander), Annihilator 3 (Ken Lupton), Fair Warning (Scott Coker), G-Force (Graeme Weller), Warlord (Brett Niddrie), The Boss (J.Michael Kelly).
Sorry my footage isn't better, but after Warlord almost took a tumble in the first lap I was rather frazzled. I don't think anyone expected him to continue let alone end up winning that heat, but congratulations to the Warlord team.

It has always been a fast boat, this year it came down to one word. Reliability! I take my hat off to the Warlord team, they know how to keep a fast boat on the water. It was unfortunate that the Kiwi boats experienced so many problems, but I wouldn't rule them out. Warwick bought home the EC Griffiths from Aussie last year and I don't think the boys will give it up anytime soon.

That was a great race weekend, gonna be even better this year :D But im not suring whether warlord will be running and whether G-Force will be coming back over

@S2bboy The boat has a very superior design over most hydros. It is low and wide.
