Hey! :) Glad you liked my cake! I've never worked with modeling chocolate but I've heard it's very easy to sculpt. I've been told however that modeling chocolate never really completely dries or solidifies. Your best bet may be gumpaste. All of the little parts were hand-painted while on the car. The only thing I painted off the car was that wing looking thing in the back. Don't be nervous! Your jeep will be awesome! :)

Hey. I am about to do a Jeep for a grooms man cake and I am pretty nervous. I have been planning to use modeling chocolate for the wheels and accessories. I have looked into gum paste as well. Which one would be the best choice? I am very familiar with either one.... And did you just airbrush the smaller pieces separate before you added them to the cake? I loved it by the way!! I can only hope mine turns out this good!
