wow..so emotional..so beautiful... i like it it .. the did a great job... FROM WHAT I GOT OUT OF IT WAS,,THAT SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL ALWAYS HAS AN ENDING , ALWAYS HAS TO COME TO AN END NO MATTER HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS, TO BE ABLE TO HAVE ANOTHER BEGINNING.... I KNOW I DONT MAKE SNECE BUT THATS WAT I SEE OF DANCE.. ;-)

Ah, when I talk about how she falls, I should just simply say that she does it quite fast but its perfectly executed.
Sorry for making no sense

I feel like it's performance art, rather than dancing, but who am I to say what these women have done? It was beautiful, none the less.

the song is called sounds of east asia,
it comes up on the video as you watch it
Interesting movement... life feels like that sometime - someone constantly undoing what you've just done like a never ending battle.
the music is stunning, beautiful yet chilling, what's it called and who performed it?

Well to be frank I can't remember...
Youtube asked me to change the original music for copyright matters...
They have a stock of right free music and this one was quite ok.
But I can't find the name back.
Sorry.
Thanks for your comment anyway.

Oh wauw! I really like this! I wasn't really feeling it at the beginning, but then as the clip played on I started getting more into the dance. I agree that modern dance is more than just "dance" in the typical sense of the word...this all kind of reminds me of the minimalism present in Butoh. The part where she's lying in the shards, convulsing, is quite well done. ^_^

It's beautiful and entrancing and there's something about it. I just wish I understood it more. It's clearly symbolising something very powerful but... I can't get it.

Thank you for you comment. The power of Modern Dance and Art is that you can take what you want out of it ;) Cheers.
