problem fixed, complete engine rebuild. The oil strainer was filled with carbon particles coming from a compression leak through inyector #1, gases from the combustion chamber were mixing with the oil.

  • Wow look at that thing shake, I'd say that's a pretty unhappy engine. I don't know much about their newer diesels, but from what I've seen and heard, they just don't make em like they used to.

  • a friction sound in cylinders.

  • ermmm, sounds sick mate... id say its pretty stuffed. Looks cool without the intercooler though

  • Change and it was silent.

    Now i change after 4 k.

  • I still have a peugeot 2.0 hdi. It sounded like that (heavy clunky tick) in 2008. I suspected it was a stuck or sticking valve. The mechanic didnt give me an opinion just "swap engine". For experient sake, I changed the oil with thinner 10w40. And added Forte oil flush and left it idling for 5 hours.

Then changed the oil again with 15w40 because forte flush costs £20 a go, I used 300 - 400ml of diesel. Left it running for another 4 hours. Checking on the noise every 20 mins.

    I did a 3 rd oil

  • Just replaced a motor in one of theise at work, had two leaking injectors, had only done 153k

  • محرك قوي لو يجبونه عندنا

  • علام الموتر وشهو مسوينبه تقول مكينت حراثة الله يدفع البلا

  • THAT ENGINE DOESN'T SOUND RIGHT IT SHOULD NOT BE SHAKING LIKE THAT AT ALL SOMETHING NOT RIGHT WITH IT I WOULD DO A COMPRESSION TEST TO MAKE SURE THAT IT DOESN'T HAVE BROKEN RINGS OR A STUCK VALVES
