I suggest some of you so called Warriors of Italy read Gates Speech to NATO. The Truth hurts Iraq, Afghanistan and now Libya should be wake up calls that no longer can certain European countries Italy, Germany, Spain pick and choose which missions they want or don't want which war to get involved in and which not to. We Americans are tired of footing the bill for Europe's weak stance on defense while you all riot in your streets about having to work past 56 or not having 3 months paid vacation.

It's amazing Italian forces have been deployed in Iraq and now Afghanistan for how many years and over those years do you think they would deploy some AMX's or AV8B's configured for CAS ? The commander of the 32' Stormo Col Fabio Giunchi has even gone on record saying had our drones been armed like the USAF/RAF lives would have been saved on the ground. it's amazing that Italy deploys ground but No fast CAS assets. Secretary of Defense Gates put it best in his final speech to NATO
