Sel: *gets off the bed, shoves on a random hoodie from the wardrobe and walks to the door* whatever.
Nick: *sighs* Sel?! I didnt mean that! Stop being so touchy just because Jakes gone...
Sel: *stops and turns slowly to face Nick* what did you say?!?!
Nick: *instantly realises his mistake* Sel, i didnt mean that...
Sel: *walks slowly over to him* say it.
Nick: *resentment grew faster and faster within him, his mouth grew dry at the stone cold expression on her face* Sel, dont...
Sel: *reaches the bed, forcefully* SAY IT!!!
Frankie: *hears the shout and runs to the door, peering in so they wouldnt see him*
Nick: *stays silent, looks down*
Sel: *leans down and whispers* you have NO idea how much this is killing me! Jake is something that people should learn never to take away from me.
Frankie: *gets upset because of what hes hiding from Sel and runs down the corridor*
Sel: Dont you EVER try and use that weakness against me!
Nick: *looks up at her* Sel, i didnt mean...

*later with Jake*
Jake: *walking through the woods, cold, scared and alone. Hears a snap behind him. He turns quickly, not seeing anything* hello? Whos there?!?!
Frankie: *walks out behind a tree*
Jake: *sighs in relief* what are you doing here? Howd you know where i was?
Frankie: *shrugs* I watched you leave last night.
Jake: well, what do you want?
Frankie: *looks down* Sels really torn up... i dont think you understand what youre putting her through, Jake.
Jake: *angry* Im doing it FOR her. Shell be happier in the end, ok? Just promise me you wont tell her.
Frankie: *shakes his head* I love Sel, Im not gonna put her through this. She NEEDS you, Jake...
Jake: No, she doesnt. What she needed was for me to leave so she could have her own life.
Frankie: She did what she did because she loved you.
Jake: *silent*
Frankie: *continues when Jake doesnt say anything* She protected you and looked after you for one thing in return; your love. You walking away from her isnt thanking her very well. She will have more friends when and if she wants them, but right now all she has is me. And keeping this from her isnt the right thing for any of us.
Jake: she has Nick.
Frankie: no... They were fighting this morning. About you, actually. Shes really losing it, Jake.
Jake: well, she has me...
Frankie: Not if youre doing this to her. She has no one left, Jake. Im lying to her, Nicks fighting with her and youre leaving her?! Its not right, Jake. You need to come home.
Jake: *tears showing in his eyes* but shell hate me... Nick will hate me...
Frankie: Sel will be too relieved that youre alright and too focused on looking after you, she wont be able to think about what you actually did. And as for Nick, Sel will get him if he says anything about you, believe me. So, are you coming?
