Train Chasing in a Stanley

Today, we decided to go out and chase the Wilmington and Western again. However,m there's a twist. I chased today in a Stanley Steamer, a once in a lifetime chance. Unless, your father owns it. My father bought this beautiful car back in August and today was its first work out chasing a train. In this video, you'll see us chase the train from Ashland, along Route 82, on to Yorklyn Road and on to Yorklyn Ridge. So sit back, and enjoy the sights and sound of steam and whistles in the red clay valley.

well, she'll go as fast as you want. but, because of age, we keep it around 30-40mph

how dose it make the steam ( the car)

well, there is a boiler under the hood. and under that is a pilot and burner (kinda like a stove). the pilot runs on hexane and the burner runs on kerosene. when the steam pressure gets up to 55psi, an automatic shuts off the burner.
