Trip is a series of short clips planned to introduce movies on a World Cinema Channel, highlighting some figures, popular icons, themes the spectator will suddenly identify during the vision. Episodes last 4 minutes and are supposed to be scheduled everyday just before the late night show. To catch the postmodern idea of pastiche the episodes're going to be a "trip" in a fast-coloured-ironic world of quotations, where icons, faces, words, vintage videos are set in a cut'n'paste play, seducing the spectator with the charm of collective imaginary and memory. The clips play with non-mainstream cinema iconografy: plastic worlds, it's all true?, life on mars?, are going to be some of the titles, to classify the clips, categories useful to pay homage to pop icons in a fragmented way, labels connecting John Waters and japanese robot, Tim Burton and Lego bricks, David Lynch, Peter Lorre and the Campbell soup.
