When did peace become war? I'm pretty sure most of the norwegians troops believe they fight for what is right, but it can not be forgotten how well they serve the evil capitalistic leaders in the world, the weapon industries, the opium industry, the tension and so on...

@gregboyds We do cooperate with both NATO and EU. We invest our oil money in Europe, and the world so on. If we didn't cooperate with NATO or any other allie, how come we had intelligence agents in Afghanistan even before the war started? How come that we was one of the few/first nations to deploy special forces soldiers into Afghanistan in the beginning? How come that both NATO AND the US are happy with that we even are there with the small army we has? Are the Netherlands cowards to pull out?

@gregboyds I'm starting to think that you are a Norwegian. I really don't think any foreigner would do so much research out of a minor nation. And why do you want more soldiers to die? really? Answer that.. To be fair, we don't have the manpower to go in to areas like Helmand on full time because we have a small military. And we had soldiers in Iraq, and by the way, there are no other than a few US soldiers left in Iraq because it has ended.

And it was NATO that placed us where we are, not us...

And the primary role in this war is that mainly U.S, British and Australian forces are supposed to be on the offensive fighting. Everyone else are mainly there for the safety to the people in Afghanistan and training Afghan soldiers and police officers. So shut the fuck up and support everyones role on the battlefield. We are even lucky to get help from the NATO nations for this long, even if the war are already lost from our part.

@gregboyds Do you wanna know why? Because it's not their war. The only reason the U.S forces has such high death count are because we are the target in Afghanistan. The other nations has a very low death count (By every soldier served). And Norway are by far one of the best on special forces soldiers, there is a reason why we have a cooperation treaty with them. The oil belong to them, it's inside their own borders. Do we in the US have anything to brag about? No, maybe 60 years ago.

@Skagenin by the way our troops is still in helmand, and we have the same goverment, and if id did change we have an agreement with the british , we marched in with the british and we march out with the british

@gregboyds Any army in the western world go where politians want them to go, , our troops is in helmand (im danish) they fight every day, i'm sure that if norwegian troops was in helmand they did the same, they are no cowards, it is a stupid comment
