i think kids serving today realize people protesting wars do it to stop violence and save lives. it has nothing to do with being unpatriotic, in fact, it is very patriotic.

This was before her majorly stupid and misguided trip to NORTH Vietnam. Unlike Joan Baez, Fonda did not apologize to the Vietnam vets after the war. Baez admitted that she was wrong to speak favorable of the North Vietnamese and said that they were thugs and murderers which, of course, they were. LBJ lied to America to offically start the war in '64 with the fraudulent attacks on the USS Maddox and the USS Turner Joy (my ship) and McNamara testified to that fact.
