@MSH786 There's a difference between Malcolm X and MLK. X embraced a violent ideology against those who suppressed blacks based off of the teachings of his new found faith. Islam teaches to strike back at your enemies, after all. MLK's protest was inspired by Gandhi's civil disobedience, which opposed violence, and as a Christian, knew to turn the other cheek. MLK is a much higher respected individual than X will ever be.

I agree with you. "HOWEVER SHARIA STATES THAT IT CANNOT BE IMPOSED ON NON-MUSLIM COUNTRIES WERE MUSLIMS ARE THE MINORITY. @ServantoftheTRUEGOD There was a time when religious extremism was tolerated because it did not pose too much of a danger to the continuation of civilization. But now the peace and prosperity of the world is being seriously threatened by extremists who believe in using violence to promote and defend Islam. They believe that secular forms of government are a violation of God’s sovereignty over the earth, therefore all nations must submit themselves to the rule of Islamic theocracy

@ServantoftheTRUEGOD The overwhelming majority of Muslims today ignore the violent teachings in the Koran by putting them into historical context, just like most Jews put the violent teachings of their holy scriptures into historical context. But there are also many Muslims who oppose democracy and freedom of speech because they fear that modern democratic values will eventually replace conservative Islamic ones.

@ServantoftheTRUEGOD Look if you want to live in the 7th Century Caliphate then I suggest you do so, but if you want to live in the real world and join us in the 21st Century, then Islam and all Religions for that matter have no place in Politics and Law. Perhaps the Quran was a relatively progressive document in the year 632, but Sharia Law now is just one long human rights violation

@ServantoftheTRUEGOD Sharia law justifies shocking acts of barbarity including stoning, the execution of homosexuals, and the subjugation of women. Sharia does not permit freedom of conscience; it prohibits Muslims from renouncing their Islamic faith or converting to another religion.

Sharia does not support religious liberty; it treats non-Muslims as inferior and does not accord them the same protections as Muslims.
