Update #4 from the Ogilvy Clayton design at Bonnie Doon Golf Club Sydney Australia

Bonnie Doon Golf Club, in conjunction with the design team of Ogilvy Clayton has made great progress since the last update.

Ogilvy Clayton Partner, Mike Cocking, updates the current status of the project.
As Mike mentioned the greens have been seeded by the Bonnie Doon grounds staff, lead my course manager David Scaife and Assistant Course Manager Tim Allen. They hydro-seeded the greens with a machine built by our mechanic Glen Hawken saving the club thousands of dollars. This and similar cost cutting measures has put this project currently under budget and the hard work by all involved has put us slightly ahead of schedule.

While there are many new changes to the course, the signature Eastern Suburbs Banksia Scrub will continue to give the course characther if manage correctly. Course Manager David Scaife details our plan to manage and rejuvenate the ESBS.

The Ogilvy Clayton team, made up of 2006 US Open champion Geoff Ogilvy, former European Tour player Michael Clayton and associates Mike Cocking and Ashley Mead, were engaged by Bonnie Doon in 2010 to develop a Masterplan for the whole course which, once completed, will re-establish the course as one of the best in NSW.
