Wimmer's a good driver. He actually led under green in his very first Cup start. He needs better equipment than he got at Bill Davis Racing and Morgan-McClure Motorsports.

I think Wimmer has done a good job with what he has gotten in Nextel Cup Racing so far, now with RCR. He can re-prove himself again as a contender.

I don't think you make it to Cup by sucking. Most, if not all the drivers in Cup have the potential to win with a team they have chemistry with. And drivers that rarely find success in Cup deserve credit for sticking it out.
