Small but showy (and very, very fast) insect-eating bird on the coast of New South Wales (this one along the rocks in Terrigal) where they nest in low-lying beach shrubs. Short high-pitched chirps call.

  • I agree with my friend brewa90 below, unless your very fortunate or are looking for these birds, in day to day activities you would miss seeing them, being as they are so small and swift as they flit about eh! You cant mistake the tail though an absolute Wren give-away. .

  • What a lovely bird! I come from UKGB, I have seen our little Wren, many years ago, a pair were nesting in an old water pump in the Farmhouse yard, my dad put signs up saying don't work the handle or disturb the Wrens ! Once they had finished and moved on, he welded up the handle, to make it safe for them to nest there again if they wanted to, which they did ! - well, I say 'They', it could have been another pair ? Lovely vid, Thanks !

  • lo cotidiano del trabajo muchas veces no nos permite "ver" estas curiosas aves. gracias por mostrarlo.
