I just want to say I think I say the single most offensive thing I've ever said on this channel. The reason is that we were throwing whatever came to mind against the comedy wall and hope it stuck. That means that there's no real consideration for delivery or really for anything else other than getting it out asap to get the timing and laughs. Hence the saying the offensive thing with no hint of sarcasm. I'm not apologizing for what we said but I want to clarify why the usual offensive things seem to blend in with everything else.

  • "The reason is that we were throwing whatever came to mind against the comedy wall and hope it stuck." Isn't that the same thing Michael Richards said after he pissed off Africa? For your information I'm only a quarter black, I have hair, and I am not a hipster. Although after looking at my new frames they do look a bit hipsterish, I think I'm gonna get different frames.

  • @MaceH1ndu Also keep in mind this was the height of Spencer fake shitting on you so yeah that's how old this goes back.

  • Alex is the best looking at BaconGames, and Spencer has no rhythm.

  • @jenningsslayer314 Couldn't have said it better myself.

  • I genuinely don't see the problem or the reason this in particular is especially offensive. So because he's black with down syndrome that somehow makes it more offensive than any other ethnicity with down syndrome?

  • @Kaizerworks That was more relative to what I've said in the past. I can't remember saying anything more offensive than that from my mouth on teh channel. Brenden still takes the prize for most offensive moment but yeah.

The problem overall wasn't the content but that for one reason or another we roll over right into the next thing without making it as apparent we were joking. It's more a question of comedic structure than worried I would offend someone.

  • @Kaizerworks It's born out of a personal dislike for humor that does not in any way distinguish through either structure, delivery etc. that something is meant to be a joke. Which is why I feel I can't trust text sarcasm when done wrong which it often is on the internet.

When we're dealing with potent stuff, it has to be done right which is something I value as a fan of comedy. We weren't as skillful with it which is awkward to me unrelated to the offensive content.

  • @MaceH1ndu We were essentially shooting the shit as we always were but rewatching it I noticed we kind of just roll along more than we normally do without giving out the usual cues to "hey this was intended to be a joke". Which aren't supposed to be super obvious but they were more absent here than I felt should have been. This is something that I felt was important to specify to others who might not know unless they know us well or were there, which admittedly is not many.
