Jesus is always coming soon. Because in the Bible, Jesus said he'd come back within the lifetimes of the prophets... and they're dead. Nearly two thousand years dead.

I wish someone would come up with a religion that wasn't so insanely self-contradicting and evil... actually I guess, honestly, as much as I hate it, Scientology, although crazy, is a lot less crazy then the old school religions.  At least it appears internally consistent. And no god-sanctioned genocide either.
