  • This is the most understandable FreeBSD video I've seen so far. Thank you for taking the time to create the whole series of tutorials good sir, this is fucking awesome.

  • @t4paN Thanks alot :-) bsd tutorial will be expanded with more stuff as soon as i can.

  • @bsdtutorial Hey mate, just wanted to say that I set up my old laptop with xfce4 according to your tutorial, and it's working pretty damn good right now.

This really is a good thing you're doing, there's not much information on setting up FreeBSD systems for complete noobs (like myself) right now, as far as I've looked. Your tutorials also helped me understand the basic though process behind FreeBSD in general. So again, thanks!

  • @t4paN Thats great :-) The idea of this project has some simple goals. To become a complete guide for beginners and users comming from linux world. Inform people that BSD systems are an alternative OS then just Linux. I'm also thinking about to make alternative tutorials like how network works and make a tour in the filesystem to know FreeBSD a bit better. I'm happy for your feedback, it's important to keep the quality on the project :-)

  • does that background come from one of the myst games? :)

  • @bamdadkhan Not sure if it's errors i get when i try to copy a link into the comment fields. But i put the link inside of the descritption. Cheers

  • @bsdtutorial Well, I've already subscribed, so I'll be watching your channel for any updates. FreeBSD is quite an interesting topic. The filesystem tour sounds great too.
