WMTW - Portland Sea Dogs Game, 1997

From 1997, the opening and first few minutes of a WMTW-TV telecast of the Portland Sea Dogs, then the AA affiliate of the Florida Marlins. Norm Karkos and Mike Fagerson provide the play-by-play, with a cameo by former President George H.W. Bush. It's interesting to note that every member of the Sea Dogs defense except RF Glenn Reeves played in the Major Leagues (quite a few players on the Rock Cats team did too!).

Awesome video, I didn't know that formal President George H.W. Bush is left handed. What an awesome guy, had a pleasure of seeing him during 1992 Presidential election as he can by train to North Carolina.

I remembered that both, my Mom and I along with some other people, where waiting to see his train go by inorder for us to greet him. The words I shouted out loud to him, "We Love You" It meant so much to me and my Mom very much, this is something I would never forget!
