  • LOL, these are Neurons! They *by definition* don’t have a fixed “code”. Apparently the film maker didn’t know shit about neural nets!

That’s whole point of a neural net: Its “code” adapts to the input. That’s what makes them able to do all form of processing in the first place! If it had a fixed code, it would not be a neural net anymore!

    FAIL!

  • @ParticleFX What the hell....?

  • If they gave the monkey a robotic leg and he was treading on my dreams, I would be all like "hey monkey, tread softly because you tread on my dreams" and stuff.

  • @attaia I like how you think. Everyone always assumes that we are being brainchipped.

  • Oh my god. Can you imagine? This could be used to re-create someones arm is they were in an accident. Rearranging mental language into eletrical signals...that guy who lost his hand in the war can move his fingers again.

Maybe someday even be able to feel things he touches.

    Maybe someday.

  • the next step from monkey is human....it always went that way

  • Hey, this guy is Brazilian, working at the U.S.!

  • i was a research monkey in a past life

  • That is very VERY impressive.
