  • This is a rare version of Billie Jean... I would guess he sang this when he was in the bad era?

    Love it<33!!:D

  • I dont know. It sounds like the original. All i know is that its called Billie Jean "long version"

  • Yeah, I can hear it's the long version:P but it isn't the original... sounds like it's around the bad era he started doing these things like at 5:45, when he says "you know you can't" Or something like that:P if you understand me:P

  • Oh yea, i see what you mean.

  • @HSalihovic Is this from the Super Deluxe 25th Anniversary edition of Thriller?

  • @ninenine909 Im not sure sorry ;)

  • @ninenine909 This is the original version. Back then there were no CD's and a record album couldn't hold much time. The average album was 30-45 minutes. So both 'Billie Jean' and 'The Lady In My Life' were edited to shorter versions to fit on the album. The long version of 'Billie Jean' was released on a maxi single at the time (1982). If you bought the Thriller album when it was 1st released, it had the lyrics to the pre-cut versions of the two songs above.

  • @HSalihovic Eh. I'll find out eventually. lol. thanks :)

  • If you listen to the demos to this, this was definitely recorded in 1982 (NOT 1987). According to reports, Quincy Jones fought over this version. He and MJ agreed to cut the song in parts.

  • if he danced to this.. think of how long his moonwalk would hav 2 be

  • I never knew there was a 12" version of Billie Jean until I read about it on Wikipedia. You learn something new everyday.

  • how could he sing this song in the bad era? This was 1982 not 1987!!

  • there is no one like the king of pop he is the 1 of a kind (crying)long lived the king of pop
