Lol my desktop is better And LINUX is best windows everyone who thinks windows is better than it...YOU SUCK...u got no idea wat linux is... If you dont know what it is it's okay lol
@nazi8per May i disagree? Linux Kernel 3.6+ is not per se bad at "games". It's all about graphic libraries, and most popular games are written for D3D / DirectX libs and thouse are ownd by microsoft and partners. If they would open their source then it could be implemented with ease in most linux or osx systems. But of course they will never do it for obvious reasons.
Linux, to tell you the truth, isn't optimal for gaming. OS'es from MS are leading in computer games, but you can still play some of the most popular video games on Linux. The biggest difference between Windows and Linux is that Linux is harder to use. It's not as automated as Windows. The user har full control, but must know how to control Linux to enjoy it. IF you have 2 computers, like i do, installing Linux on one of them works like a charm during your first learning period.
I'm not some tech expert on this stuff but I love computers and video games so I have a question. Do OSes affect video games? I use Vista and I have good hardware but it doesn't seem to work as well as it should. Would Linux help that? And if not does anyone have any advice?
