How to make a Tech House sounding bass using Ableton Live's Analog. No other VSTi or plugins are required. Play around with it a bit and you'll have a nice tech house bass just like Richie Hawtin, Marco V, James Talk, Koen Groeneveld, Dubfire and other Tech House producers!
This is the first in a 2 part Tech House tutorial. In the second part, I'll show you how to create a fat stab to go with your bass line.

Tech house my ass sounds like fucking electro and when did marco v produce tech house Tech House has fucking sub bass go to beatport top 100 tech house and if you find in any track bassline like this i will eat shit :D

Hey mate, I have been looking for this for a long time, thanks for the help, I work with logic my self so i tried to link some of your tips to my own DAW. But I just can't get the rythm of the bassline, It would be a great help if you could share a MIDI file of the bassline!

you really have to change the title.. this is not a tech house baseline imo

never, ever, ever heard this kind of analog bass in a tech house tune. would also call that progressive house. tech house basses sound very synthetic to me

Did you load a device preset before dropping analog into your session? I have emulated all that you have done in the video and I am coming up with nothing even close o that SOUND....Is there something that im missing? Thank you in advance...Any help is much appreciated!

@mrklutch I used the standard Analog instrument device. No presets. Without knowing your setup, all I can recommend is try following along again. I just followed it myself and the results are (still) the same.
