Former Tempe Mayor Harry Mitchell is a strong supporter of embryonic stem cell research while incumbent Congressman J.D. Hayworth repeatedly voted against embryonic stem cell research measures.

  • Michell is responsible for the Next republican who is violently attacked or shot. He put JD Hayworth in the "Crosshairs" on a political commercial!!!!!!!!!! LMAO!!

Aren't Democrats a hoot?? Freaking HYPOCRITES!

  • There's a big difference between simply stating the vague "stem cell research" to cloud the issue and discussing the actual difference between ADULT stem cell research and EMBRYONIC stem cell research. Nice trick the "mainstream" media continues to use when there is a big difference and adult stem cell research has proven successful and decent people are against using human embryos for science (which has created nothing but tumors anyway).

  • Harry(not Linda).

    C'mon Harry, JD was right.

  • Commercial 2006, now almost 2010.

Where are those magical cures, Linda?

JD Hayworth apparently realized that those embryos that Linda wanted to grow and mature as separate living pieces of infants in dishes(with tax dollars, no less), if treated as individuals and implanted whole(his choice), could have been laughing loving playing 3 year olds today.

  • Good for JD Hayworth. He said NO to taxpayer financed cannibalism.

  • Unfortunately I do not live in this district so i can't vote for Harry but I grew up in Tempe and Harry Mitchell was a GREAT mayor. Anyone who lived in Tempe can tell you that. I forget how many times he was re-elected. He's a good man and I hope he beats Hayworth, who is one of the dumbest members of Congress. Go Harry!
