Do you have to train em to go that fast in their walk or is it natural? :)

I swear, Paso Finos are like...The coolest gaited breed out there. Lol I have a Walker but soon to get a Paint but still...Lol they are cool.

@omarbravo17 the paso fino horse comes from these three breeds: andalusian, barb and spanish jennet
-
@omarbravo17 its a spanish breed a lot of spanish horses have this gait
-
@Starsilver17 they are very smooth, you can put a glass full to the brim of wine on their backs and they wont spill a drop
-
@Starsilver17 It was a useful gait several years ago when working on plantations and in the hills. Because they are almost no longer used for that type of work (like most horses) they are bred for show
-
I often wonder why people breed horses with strange gaits, mostly all of the special 'breed' gaits I have seen are just for show. Is this a 'just for show' gait or is there a use for having a horse walk in this manner? Just curious. Beautiful horses and such a fun gait :)

I've always thought that this was really cool, but still pretty weird looking 0.o I know that they do this naturaly...but it still looks really weird...almost edited, but I know better. lol
For me, the Paso Fino breed has a smooth, inherited gait that is best for trail riding without having to post at a trot, and so is extremely satisfying and practical for long rides. Show Pasos have three speeds of the 4-beat, or singlefoot, gait: cuarto (fast walk), largo (extended), and fino the latter being the very fast and collected slow mincing step. I prefer the walking and extended gaited horses.
