London Adventure pt 1

This was the last stop on my trip in 2004.... I'd just spent 3 days in Ireland and I'd been so lazy in confirming accomodation that I nearly had a major drama on my hands... I'd kind of organised to stay with Leanne... An old friend from the Gold Coast.. She'd been living in London and working for Kylie Minogue... So I didn't know what to expect but that soon changed with the phone call I made from Dublin Airport... When Leanne answered her phone she was like "Where are you?".. To which I answered "Dublin.... I'll be landing at Heathrow soon"... She said "Oh.... Um... Babe I'm in Australia.... I just landed with Kylie in Melbourne... I thought you meant next month"...

So that made things interesting... And I've got to say Leanne's a legend.. She organised her flat mate to leave the keys and made all kinds of calls... But a thought came to mind...

Johnny Webb... We always have a laugh together and he's in London.. I'll give him a call... So I did... He said it was cool to use the couch and so I jumped on the plane... He picked me up from some Tube station in the city and the adventure began... Once again no idea what to expect...
