Another One Bites the Dust (fingerstyle guitar)

TAB AVAILABLE READ ON...not got a lot of time for youtube at the moment, but I thought I'd better put one out for all my mates just so you know I'm still here ;)

A hack on Naudo's version; yeah, it's fun to play, but I'm still struggling with tempo as you probably noticed with the several stumbles, including the hideous one towards the end eeek I was starting to go crazy and I fluffed it! :)

To my punters - I feel it is reasonably easy, I worked it out in one sitting and spent about a week noodling with it into the tab, and then played it on and off for another month trying to smooth it out, until we arrive here at this recording. The slap bass is a good sound, don't be afraid. You'll need some thumb independence on this one, but if you are playing any other Naudo stuff then this will be a breeze.

@musicloverskillet Slap bass. Takes a bit of practise, but once you get it it's pretty easy. I talked a bit about it in one of my videos on my blog, might be worth having a look if you are interested.

@Vreci Thanks Wolfgang, nice to see you drop past! Have a go on this one, it's simple but quite therapeutic to play - you can really dig in and get some good sounds happening, I still enjoy playing this one a lot!

Pink Floyd is where I really developed "my style"...but my love for fingerstyle came out of the classical world. Classical is a bit too rigid/stiff (don't tell the classical guys I said that) but it is the door to fingerstyle. If you get into Tommy's stuff you can shortcut it, but don't discount it, we can all learn a lot from those guys!
