  • Clay breaks easy enough, and 60mph becomes about 1/4 value to nothing when you have the target coming right at you.

Snakes and groundhogs are a bit tougher.

with 7 1/2 shot mine just bounces off of snakes and groundhogs at distances as close as 25ft.

The only way to kill a snake with this reliably is to be close enough to the snake to be bit. Its a belly gun and nothing more, lets stop all the silly ass games trying to make something into what it clearly isnt.

  • @jedirifleman .....you are both missing and making the whole point. It was, is and always will be a "belly gun". No one was more blown way than I that it could break a clay.

As for killing power, that is a different matter. 71/2 shot is way to light at that range. If you practice with your gun, you can turn a ground hog inside out with a hot 45lc. Carry a round that is applicable to the distance and game you want to kill, then I think you will have faith in your gun.

  • take that water fowl hhunting, then i will be flabergasted. nice shooting, nice vid

  • @naicam1 I don't know how possible that would be. It only takes a small amount of inertia to break a clay. And of course the question of distance...........if you could get inside 10 yards it may be possible to bag one with the 5 ball shell. That would be a first! A 45 LC would drop it for sure but I think its illegal. I'll have to ask a duck hunter............thank you for the comment, it makes me ponder the possibilities.

  • You really wanna impress me?

    Try REDNECK skeet shooting.

    Y'know, at golf balls.

    ;)

  • Since you are a member of our beloved Marines I have to ask. What the heck is golf ball skeet? Take a vid and show me how to play and I will at least try to play your game. Semper Fi!

  • Awesome!!!!!

  • @bluerazors dude naicam1 is a duck and goose hunter, and yes it is illegal to use anything lead, or anything that is not shot to hunt migratory game birds.

  • @naicam1 i would try and hunt upland game birds with it.

  • one day, I wanna be able to skeet shoot with a rifle.

  • LOL - cool vid.

  • Damn, people are giving you a ton of shit. Fuck 'em, this vidja is awesome and made of win!

  • Great shooting. As for the nay sayers. I have one. Great for what is designed for. Pick your shot or bullet you use for it's target. As stated #7 bounces of a snake at distance. But it's fun to shoot. 00 buck does it's job. PDX really will do the job too. Am I gonna shoot this alot in fun. Hell no. Cost to much.

  • I guess I'll have to try that next time I head up to the northwoods mountains and shoot. I've had my SSIV a year and half; awesome piece. Great workmanship, easy to clean, pretty accurate for what it is, for short range. I generally practice with it between 5 and 6.5 yards. Recently acquired the 357/38 barrel in the 4.25" size and also have the 22LR and the newly released 22WMR, both in 3". If you want a quality built piece of USA craftsmanship, buy one of these, they're lots of FUN!

  • Damn fine shooting with such a small barrel!
