This week we take a look a the DualHead2Go and TripleHead2Go from Matrox Graphics, Inc. --- These devices can take a single monitor output and split it over several screens. The end result is that you can have the equivilant of a 30" LCD monitor for a fraction of the cost.

'gadget' is a production of the Center for Apostolic Technology, a ministry of the California Province Society of Jesus. Robert Ballecer is a Jesuit scholastic in the California Province, set to be ordained to the Roman Catholic Priesthood on the 9th of June, 2007.

  • i was wondering if this product would work with asus g73jh laptop using a hdmi to dvi cable and the digital version of the triplehead2go? Any information would be helpful. Thank you!

  • @blacknowledge187,

It's input agnostic. As long as you can give it the resolution it needs, you're golden.

    .

    Peace,

    Fr. Robert

  • i have one question about the dualhead2go.

i have a graphics card with 2 outplugs, but i want 3 monitors. can i place the monitor that's not connected to the dualhead2go between the connected ones?

    please reply. :)

  • brianvdberg0,

You would have one monitor directly connected to the video card, and the other two monitors connected to the DH2G which would then be connected to the second port on the video card.

    Peace,

    Fr. Robert

  • bkyoungboy,

Well... if you have to ask a fat ass, then you probably shouldn't have that many monitors.

    .

    Peace,

    Fr. Robert

  • does having a nice ATI Radeon video card work with the matrox set up to make it look even better?

  • It really doesn't matter what brand of card you use. As long as the box gets a good quality signal, it will output a good quality signal. Peace, Fr. Robert
