  • i prefer the most recent movie phantom but i also like this one and can appreciate these two as performing artists as opposed to actors (which is what emmy and gerard are).

  • The newer one is wayyy better

  • @krunchy201 I agree, yet I think that Emmy has a naiveness to her that Sarah didn't quit capture. They are both brilliant, yet I think that the original phantom is the best.

  • I actually had an argument over if Sarah or Emmy was a better Christine. It's a shame some people actually prefer Emmy over the brilliant Sarah. Same for Crawford and Gerard Butler. These two originals are the best.

  • Muito bom!!!!!!

  • @littlelottesangel That is the correct staging, she's supposed to turn to him then he turns her the other way for the final note.

  • @MsLailai123

I totally agree. Michael set the bar high. I've read interviews from others who have played the Phantom and they said they were concerned because they knew they were being compared to Michael. I LOVE Michael Crawford. I have ever since I saw him in Hello Dolly.

  • Christine is my great love!!!!!!!!!!!

  • - It's part of the story. He taught Christine everything she knows. How to sing as well as her stage presence. She's supposed to have her back to the audience and he corrects her, giving the audience the intention that he is her true teacher. No worries Phans, it's all part of the show! :)
