I'm 20 years old as well, and love this music too. Johnny Horton, Marty Robbins, Hank sr, and those like them wrote music far better than most of the mainstream music coming out today.

I love this type of music because it is the only type that sounds good on Laptop speakers.
That, and this song was played for my dad's funeral... I'm sure that doesn't have anything to do with it XD

I've loved Johnny Horton's music since the late 70s/early 80s listening to my uncles eight tracks. A totally underappreciated talent. He could do songs as diverse as Sink the Bismark, Honky Tonk Hardwood Floor, Whispering Pines, and Ole Slewfoot. Many better known artists couldn't do half the range Johnny could.

J Horton had, as all great artists, a unique voice - his own. Great clip. So sad that so many have gone to country/rabilly/Rockn'roll/R&B heaven or hell. lol But they are in charge there, I bet.

This may not be a familiar Johnny Horton song, but I have always loved it. I've been listening to his music since Honky Tonk Man came out in 1956.
