Democrats whine about lopsided political influence in the one medium Republicans control. Meanwhile, Dems have control of state run education, mainstream media, motion picture industry, news print industry, even the magazines USA Today, National Geographic, People, etc., They haven't been able to break into talk radio with a profit margin, but they have managed to stream government funding to their effort. Their ideas cannot survive the scrutiny talk radio brings to bear on the issues.

No damn Fox news and Talk radio to, they went after the guy carrying the AR15 more then MSNBC and CNN combined. But I do agree, its wrong to make people have 2 sided things, but most of the time it happens anyway. We should be able have all sort of the press, after all its in the rotting paper we call the constitution.

I have to believe that when the Reagan FCC scrapped the "Fairness Doctrine", that basically abridged freedom of speech, thereby violating the First Amendment.

Who decides what is left and right? Who decides what is fair? Who decides how much of each "side" you should hear?
NOT THE GOVERNMENT THAT"S WHO! PEOPLE should be able to make those decisions on their own. If they don't want to hear it they can turn it off or change the channel. That's our right and our freedom to do so. We don't need the Big Brother watching out for us and telling us what's right and wrong.
