@darneir just to correct you but not to be rude cause have you tried taking care of cichlids cause there in my opinion smarter than goldfish

that's strange, having koi and goldfish together should be perfectly okay, since they are from the same genus and people do keep goldfish and koi together all the time. Koi and goldfish can even cross breed..

i recommend u seperating your koi from the other goldfish

You should consider getting a tank about 10 times bigger if you have a koi in it

its good you got a 45 because 20 is too little for that many goldfish but since you got a 45 nice tank lol:p

Yes lol they do poo alot but i realy enjoy cleaning the tank they love to swim up to my hand and peck on it and circle around.

no it is 20 gallons i just recentley got an upgrade to a 45 gallon tank i am realy only 14 years old i have been taking care of fish since i was 9, i have had alot of different kinds of fish and found that goldfish are the funnest to take care of and most colorfull and smartest fish yet.
