@teoteous Nerfing the generals :[ Hope it doesn't happen.

He just beaned a fucking Hydralisk!
-
@StarSpawn06 The UNSCg ranges (I think a NOVA class destroyed half a Covenant Fleet, but that wasn't fired, just set off)
Otherwise, they're just similar concepts, if they were the exact same, it'd be copyright infringement.
-
they overlap, but they are not identical.
The Imperium & UNSC do not have nuke missiles that fly *from one world to another*. ( afaik )
The nids have little emotion or personality. The Flood ( as seen in the games ) cannot travel through space by their own power.
the Eldar are not photosynthetic. The Covenant's goal and background is completely different from that of the Eldar or Protoss.
etc etc

Terran = Imperium (Power armored super-soldiers)
Zerg = Tyranids (Biotic savage aliens that don't use any particular technology that isn't fully biotic. Consumes worlds, is controlled by one supreme "Hive Mind" Claws, Spines, Acid)
Protoss = Eldar (Super-tech aliens with psychic mind powers, energy shields, cloaking capabilities)
Same can go for Halo, being,
Terran = Imperium = UNSC
Zerg = Tyranids = Flood
Protoss = Eldar = Covenant

@kingtigertank42 Don't forget Starship Troopers. Arachnids = Zerg/Tyranids, SST also invented the word and concept of "Power Armour"
-
@starhawks1 warhammer and sc both just have stuff from the movies aliens , predator, and star wars.
-
So this is what happens on the battlefield.

Strawman. I never denied that SC took some inspiration from 40K. All we have are the developers' own story. If they say so, it is so.
Besides, Blizzard took inspiration from all over sci-fi. Same can be said of GW.
What I am disproving is your earlier stand that SC is a just a bad imitation of 40K, which you based on mere rough impression.
And now that you've modified your stand, my work is done ( ... or do you still need that list of diffs ? )
Go enjoy the game, bro. GLHF :)
FYI the HEV mark 4 round has the power to eliminate the toughest zerg opponent including the dreaded ultralisk. the name stands for High Explosive Velocity round. the round weighs 4.21 pounds. it has the ability to pass through multiple targets and is very accurate. it was commonly used by the arclite mark 2, before it was replaced by the mark 3 (starcraft) which was replaced by the Crucio tank (starcraft 2).
yes, I have little if any life :(
