Jackie Chan PSA on Bear Bile Farming

A passionate advocate for animals, Jackie Chan has once again teamed up with the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) to create awareness of a little-known example of appalling cruelty to animals -- bear farming in Asia. Chan and WSPA have filmed a powerful 30-second PSA calling for an end to the cruel practice and showing the intense suffering and deplorable conditions bears on farms are forced to endure.

Nice one Jackie - you star. Wish more celebrities would campaign for this disgusting, barbaric trade to end. There's no need for it as it's been proven that herbs and synthetics have the same effect as bear bile - it's a disgrace needlessly abusing these poor creatures. Their sad eyes - you just can't imagine what they are going through - it's awful and makes me very sad that humans can abuse animals this way and they are allowed to just get away with it. It's heart breaking.

If he's sincere, then I totally salute him! Bear bile extracting is totally, utterly cruel. And it's threatening the very survival of bears to boot! The practice of it should be banned, ASAP. (Sighs) Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is such a destructive garbage of superstitions.

Wow, so many forms of animal abuse, it makes me sick. I had gone vegan to help product factory food farmed animals, and cows for their skin. But wow, bears too, and I also learned about feather farming with birds. This video made me cry, bears are lethal animals, but so majestic as well. Sigh. Thank you for lending your support Chan, it means a lot.
