Hi guys, Bridget here, welcome back to ClevverMusic. With Fashion's Night Out kicking off tonight in major cities across America, we thought we'd compile a list of our fave fashionistas in music. We're just talking about the ladies today, and these are our top 5 picks for most stylish. Number 5: Rihanna. Girlfriend has come into her own lately, and we can barely keep up with her ever-changing hair colors and nail lacquer. On red carpets she's especially not afraid to take risks like she did with this Jean Paul Gaultier number at the Grammys. She's also just been named the new face of Armani jeans, and looks fierce with her blonde pixie cut in the new ads.
Our number 4 pick is Madonna. She may not be super exciting on red carpets and events anymore, but any woman who can make the cone bra look cool is a trendsetter in our eyes. Madge is also the woman many current artists like Lady Gaga get their ideas from. Fashion always repeats itself, and there's a reason almost ever girls dresses up as the Material Girl at least one Halloween.
Katy Perry gets the number 3 slot. We love her colorful costumes while on stage, and she's really taken it to the next level with her California Dreams tour. We're not crazy about her kooky red carpet fashions, just because we'd like to start seeing a difference between Candyland Katy and Mrs. Brand. Plus, she's so pretty and has a rocking bod, so any high end designer would be lucky to dress her. But we will give her credit for her four outfit changes at the VMAs last month. Lookin good girl!
Nicki Minaj is our number 2! Girl came out of the gate this year, and has looks wackier and wackier the more we see her! Especially when it comes to her hair! Between her black bob look at the VMAs, to her pink wig with blonde roots at the Billboard Awards to her leopard beehive at the Grammys, Nicki knows how to turn heads. She's definitely one to watch, and it'll be easy since ya can't miss her!
And our number one most fashionable female musical artist is....Lady Gaga! I know, it's pretty obvious at this point. But what we've learned from Gaga this year is that she's not just out for shock value—she's actually very invested in all of her particular looks. Jo Calderone at the VMAs—need we say more? Gaga has shown off a plethora of looks this year, from the blinding turquoise hair and matching wardrobe, to the full houndstooth look head to toe, to covering her entire face with a lace veil. She's incorporated several high-end designers into her life, like Alexander McQueen, Valentino, Giorgio Armani, and Jean Paul Gaultier, with whom she'll be chatting with next week in a special that airs on the CW.

Okay, I hate when people bring gaga and madonna into an artist war. Madonna has had her time as the queen of pop, gaga is our generations madonna, so leave them both alone and just accept it. I love madonna dont get me wrong but it just bugs me when people put these two amazing artists at war :/

Why do people always talk about the meat dress when talking about gaga's clothing? i mean, its not like she wears that everyday. she wore that once, and i agree, i may not be her best outfit, but she has loads of very high fashion pieces that she wears all the time. plus, she's the only one their with a CDFA fashion icon award.

@12billyboi first of all gaga doesnt waer meat all the time, second of all go see gagas first videos from her first album-the fame. all of those looks inspired minaj to look how she looks now. blonde wig with bangs and similar dresses. and yes i recently saw nicki wearing a chicken wing necklace. how ghetto of her. its not a meat dress but shes wearing food on her body imitating gaga.
