@bugbab720 It should work for all three if your plug tip looks like this one.

@SuperToobzz Take a look at my 3rd video hyperlinked in this video, it explains if you need another plug at the 1:00 time point- especially beings you had an extra wire (red/green striped).

so i've successfully used this method on my sennheiser cx 475. but with my sennheiser cx 300-II precision it turns out that they have the red-green striped wire, too.. but no mic or controls or anything... so i'm wondering what to do with it...
thanks!
appreciate the effort of making this videoo!!

Hey ive been through two pairs of sennheiser earbuds and on the first pair the left earbuds died out into a faint sound that could be restored from wiggling the jack, but i sent those back for a replacement. now im on my second pair and the right bud is completely dead. would this be a possible fix for that type of problem?

@ImprezaImpresser I'm not sure if I answered this already in other comments, but you can follow the same steps in my first video to connect this plug, you just don't need to use solder.

@RichsMethods Well i tried to use this on my sennheiser and got no luck out of it. I did as you said in the original video but the right bud was still not working. any tips on what i might have done wrong?

@ImprezaImpresser Did you only have 3 wires you needed to connect like shown in my first video? If the right side is not working, you may not have connected one of the wires correctly. Make sure all of the enamel is removed from the colored wires and that the copper (ground) wire is making contact with the connector. Removing the enamel color from the wires are one of the most common mistakes I've seen. Let me know if that works.
