This is not the finest title image I've created, but try to ignore that and focus on the music. =P This was recorded in Cockos REAPER, using the Garritan Steinway piano patch that ships with Finale 2008. I'm rather proud to say that it was all done in one take (for once), although I did have to shorten a brief, unintentional delay in one part near the end. Feedback always welcome!

  • Gahh, how could I have missed this?!? This track is definitely my favorite in the CF area loop; also, Hook was one of my favorite movies while growing up! And you have a great rendition of this piece of music! Three birds with one stone! Lol

  • @KANahas Haha, thanks, glad you like it, man. :D

  • @FishfilmInc Ah, that's a pity. Some people are like that...I don't understand it, and I've never heard a well-reasoned argument for why it's the case, but to each his/her own, I suppose!

  • @1taken nope, he thinks williams is a hack, sucks when listened to outside of the film, and is Spielbergs little.... leech (this is a family site so thats not the word he used)

  • @FishfilmInc Surely your friend was just comparing my performance to the real thing and concluded that mine was terrible by comparison, in which case I could hardly disagree! I mean, piano is fun...but there's a reason Williams uses an orchestra for this stuff. ;)

  • @1taken You know what sucks? I actually found someone who dismissed this music as terrible

  • @1taken Its not mine either (in terms of that there are more flaws in it than some of his other works), but it has some good pieces

  • @FishfilmInc Hmmm, I'll consider it! That's not really my favorite Williams score, though.

  • @1taken you should do something from The Towering Inferno

  • Once again, this is something from one of my favorite albums.

Great job with the transcribing, sounds pretty dang good!
