I agree. But sometimes a Christian's confidence can be misconstrued as arrogance too. I think both sides tend to break the same rules.

Ain't that the truth! But I'm pretty much convinced that we aren't alone, and that gives us a list of endless possibilities...including a matrix.
We are a very young species, a very recent event in relation to the age of the universe. Imagine the 1st planets to form and support intelligent life. This conceivably could have happened 10 or 12 billion years ago. What would they be like now? What would they think of us?
It's incomprehensible, yet entirely possible,.and nothing supernatural about it.
