CHSFS Adoption Services
Here and around the world, too many children are in need of loving and caring parents. Every year, we help about 800 children join the adoptive family that's right for them, through our Domestic Infant program, the program for Minnesota's Waiting Children, and international programs in more than a dozen countries.

Last year, we helped more than 700 children from 13 countries join families in the U.S.

For more than 30 years, the Waiting International Child program has been finding families for children around the world who have special medical needs, who are at risk for future development of medical issues, and who have needs that range from minor to serious or lifelong. Some families receive grants through our International Adoption Assistance program, to help them provide homes for waiting international children.
