@03hz94 shut up prick
-
@Maximagq Uhh, actually Dent lost.
-
@paulkielsmithdotcom Sweeting, like many pros is using a backhand grip instead of a continental grip to hit his serve. I have found that this grip puts a little bit of topspin on pretty much any serve I hit. The same way this grip naturally cups under the ball (which is what you observed) in Sweeting's starting stance, it naturally cups over the ball when he goes to hit his serve. I suppose if he decided to sneak a drop serve in there it would be well disguised =)

thanks for all the great videos!
-
taylor has great serve but he looks like Frankenstein every time he prepare
-
what? part 6 he double faults and loses the match
-
And its necessary to zoom on every single point to do that?
-
who won this match?
-
wow, sweetings stance or more so the way he holds/grips the racquet looks like he is going to hit an underhand serve
Taylor Dent won the match

great video quality, terrible camera work! here's some advice. stop zooming in on the server. you miss the return every time, which is almost half of the whole point these days. also stop trying to center the ball during the rally. just keep the damn camera still and let the viewer's eyes do the work. i'm still trying to get over the vertigo. in short, get out of the way of the camera. thx though :)

My camcorder comes with software that allows me to capture 30 frames per second so I can see exactly what Sweeting and Dent are doing to serve 130 mph. I don't zoom in on all the videos, but every once in a while (such as in this one) i'll zoom in on the server and keep it zoomed in a little bit longer than usual so I can go back and capture the service motion. With the pictures that I capture, I can go back and put all the pictures together and print it out on my color laser printer.
