I love this song from years...
and I still think it's AMAZING!

This has been the very first time I listened to this song, even to this group. I heard about them because a friend told me that it looked like Muse.
It really does. I've been looking for years a grupos that make me feel like them do, and this could be it

@XxAussieFuryxX I listen to The Whitlams, and found them to be equally dark and melancholy, even though their sound tends to be quite the opposite. I met Tim Freedman once in a bar, and told him he music saved my life. He smiled, lifted his glass and kept drinking his scotch without saying another word. It occurred to me that after his three friends committed suicide that his music is now his burden to them, and he carries it with him wherever he goes.
I just hope he knows the difference he makes

Neon Ballroom was the only album I had of theirs. It got me through a very rough time in my life. I hadn't heard this song or the album in years. Will be purchasing it again soon. And this song will FOREVER move me.

@mattlekochinsky I think we all have our fair amount of shit to deal with, but some of us embrace that darkness, turn it into something beautiful, but we're also the first to help out other people. Daniel Johns may not be the first to do it, but he is one singer who shares so much of himself in his music, and you don't have to be a die-har dfan or a musician to get it.

@XxAussieFuryxX I Completely agree, I'm by no means a historian of Daniel Johns but from what I know he truly seems/seemed to be a tortured musician. And from that struggle he created beautiful music. Thanks Daniel.

I just broke down as I was watching this...
My name is chris and I'm 25 years old. I would do anything to go back in time and rescue myself as child and lift myself out of the wave called life, that was ready to drownd me , in drug abuse, self abuse. GET UP,GET UP CHRIS AND wake up and let me save you from yourself. Good things will come. Lessons learned. Emotion sickness from pychosis.
