Looking at this vid got me to wondering who's the greatest Spurs payer of the last 60 or so years. Is it Mackay, Blanchflower, Gilzean, Greaves, Jennings, Hoddle, Ardiles, Waddle, Gascoigne, Lineker, Ginola? Or one of countless others? Also it cemented for me a basic football fact: teams are only good when they have a solid central defence: Graham Roberts from the 80s, Richard Gough briefly in the 90s, before he got homesick.

@sunderlandspur I didn't know Crewe ever rose to those heights. I thought 13-2 was a Cup match. I do know that in Bill Nic's first game in charge ca. 1958-9 Spurs beat Everton 10-4 at the Lane.

i am not liking this tottingham footballing team. in my country, we go crazy for arsenals and west ham unitings. tottinghams, not so much, they are how you say in english, 'shit'
