This is Kristian Cvetkovic playing Liszt - Sonata in B minor (home amateur recording). Kristian was born on 2. November 1991 in Zug, Switzerland and plays the piano since he was 5 (http://www.cvetkovic.com ).

Due to the YouTube duration limit of 10 minutes, the Sonata is (unfortunately) uploaded in 3 parts - it has been however recorded w/o interrupts!

Total playing time: 30:15

  • Bon... Quelques maladresses mais c super dans l'ensemble, tu as vraiment beaucoup à dire!! Bravo

  • The Friedeim/Liszt Sonata roll? I'm sorry Kristian. A "y" crept into my spelling of your Christian name in my previous comment..

  • @gerardbedecarter Kristyian: Was your decision to play the D sharp then the Klindworth D natural based on a compormise you reached or based on a recording you may have heard!

  • Wonderful!!!!!!!!

  • i can never play piano again. not after this. I'm in awe and complete wonder

  • because you haven´t heard Alexei Grynyuk before... lol maby you have. What are you guys talking about ? xD

  • because u didn't hear Emil Gilels or Vladimir Horowitz

  • Kristian: your performance also shows evidence of research by you into the autograph manuscript, first edition and other editions, and carefully thought out musicological and interpretative decisions.

  • Hey wow ! the passage at 6:45 to 7:03 was perfect !! Not to say that other passages were not perfect, also. Kristian, I hope you present the Liszt Sonata as the major piece for your 40 minute recital at the next Sydney International Piano Competition. I hope you compete at that competition and look forward to hearing you then. Your video shows you as a model for calmness, posture and relaxation at the keyboard.

  • Five stars *****.
