just edit the sound in post

Get some closed cell foam and tack it over the mic holes on the flycam with a lil superglue gel, to cut the wind roar.

I've got to say, that's some of the smoothest landings I have seen. Your a expert taildragger pilot.

Thanks, Chris! Nice work! Beautiful ship, too. I like the perspective with the solid-mount camera-- scenery moves relative to the aircraft. Pretty kewl.

very cool paint scheme, aztec right?

Yup, you're right. It's Aztec. The owner hand masked that stripe and hand painted the Aztec god on the front. Actually he's painted it twice, the airplane has been yellow with red stripe in the 35 years he's owned it. Believe me, the paint scheme fits the owner!

For a thrown together test, I'm very happy with the results and hope to do more soon! It was the only flyable day we've had in a week or so and was in a hurry to fly it a bit after I finished the annual and get it back to the owner.

Thanks! I've had the camera for a while and used it on my RC models, finally got around to trying it on the real stuff. Too much fun and can't wait to do more with it. Only weighs 7.9 ounces with camera, extra battery, reciever and all.
