nice work! a IV-18 clock will be my next project :)
just one question, why do you use pic µCs?
I never used them i use Atmel µCs, because they give you the whole programming environment for free + gcc + large community and so on...made the starting pretty easy...and of course i still use them ...i guess thats marketing :P
but im always interested in different products, so is there any advantage by using pics?

What i will never understand - why never a real RGB-VFD-Display was made as a Television Display? That thing would give the most beauty colors and sharpness ever seen.
