  • His damn string is even broke ,u can see the damn thing hanging most of the tune!!!

  • I'm pretty sure this is the show where Buckethead played the same day, just imagine seeing them both on the same day! Holy Shit!

It's because he lived under the radar, unknown to popular culture. I lived in Memphis in the 80's and 90's and saw Shawn about 15 times with the Willy's - a great bar band, but nothing that would catch national attention.

I view Shawn as the shy kid in class who doesn't say much, but actually knows more than the teacher, but doesn't reveal it out of respect for the teacher. He was a very special Memphian.

  • tooo.. much... awesomeness!!!

  • What the fuck!!

  • Why does this look so weird? Like the fame rates too fast or something?

  • I moved to Memphis about a year ago having known of Shawn through different folks including my old guitar teacher who knew him personally. It is unbelievable that a lot of people here don't even know who he was or that he was from here. Keep spreading the word about this legend.

  • U can see as Shawn is playing that his hands are merely a conduit for what is occurring in that enormous musical brain of his, hi visualizes the notes and rips em. Uncanny, what a genius
